For some 50 years now, the Marienhof has been home to an intensive dairy operation. Originally with “Brown Cattle”, since 1970 with the very best Holsteins. By bringing in Holstein bulls from across Europe, the USA and Canada, the quality of our stock has improved significantly and now compares well to the European average. In addition to dairy production, the sale of breeding cattle is yet another mainstay of our farm. Many of our breeder calves are exported to the surrounding south-eastern countries of Italy, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria!
